The Township Assessor is responsible for the inventory and annual appraisal of all taxable properties within Grand Rapids Township: residential, commercial, industrial, vacant and personal. There are approximately 7,713 parcels in the Township. The total SEV in 2022 is $1,563,050,300 at 50% of True Cash Value.

The Assessing Department maintains records of current ownership, assessed and taxable values, property characteristics and market data. This office follows the requirements of the General Property Tax Act of the State of Michigan.
