Grand Valley Metro Council 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan

Grand Valley Metropolitan Council (GVMC) has completed our draft 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), which includes transportation projects and investment priorities for all modes of transportation in Kent and eastern Ottawa counties for the next 26 years. The document is open for public comment through April 22, 2024. 

 

In our Public Participation Plan, we commit to providing the document link to all cities, townships, villages, and road agencies within Kent and eastern Ottawa counties. Please note that due to the file size, the document is broken down into several parts. Links to the 2050 MTP and its supporting documents are on www.gvmc.org/mtp. We would greatly appreciate it if you would please share these links on your website, on your social media pages, or in your newsletters. You can also share GVMC’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (X) posts directly from our pages.


If you prefer to have a hard copy at your location instead of posting the links online, please let me know, and I will send you one. Hard copies will also be available at all libraries in our MPO area.

 

GVMC is hosting two open houses and a virtual public meeting to present the document, field questions, and gather comments from the public. Dates and times for these events are below:
